Really beautiful place. It's a shame that the train journey itself is so short, but the volunteers are working on extending it. Really interesting history and well worth visiting. A little bit difficult to get to without a car, but well worth the trouble to get there.

Lovely little line. A good place to shelter from the Welsh weather. A fascinating little museum as well. See the worlds newest steam engine at work!

One of the most aesthetically pleasing of preserved railways set in a most idyllic valley. Has a very friendly and relaxed vibe to it.

Sweet little station with a shop, museum and the staff will make a tea or coffee for you. Lovely people throughout. The only disappointment is I understood from the website that the journey was 50 minutes long, But it took 8 minutes to the first junction where you can get off the train and a gentleman gives a talk and tour of the workshop (that was appreciated and interesting) and then 8 minutes back to the station. I just think this should be made a little clearer. The train was very well maintained and charming.

A really great little experience for all the family. We had a mixed group of kids aged 4 to 10 and 6 parents. The guys running the train were all really knowledgeable about the history of the railway and trains. Entertained the kids and showed them how everything worked. Gave lots of background on what they do in restoration of old rolling stock etc. They are all volunteers and their passion about the trains and the history really comes across. Would definitely recommend.

It's a brilliant narrow gauge railway with a promising future! Parking can be problematic at busy times. The museum is fascinating, they have some nice souvenirs and the volunteers are friendly and welcoming. The carriages are a work of art, the Tattoo loco is great - soon to joined by the Falcon. 🤞 The new transverser is pure theatre and the passengers love it! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧🇪🇺😷👍

Friendly narrow gauge railway, interesting little museum, short but not overpriced trip. Good guidebook. Nice wagons to travel in and friendly courteous staff. Interesting traverser to move the engine, worth watching!
