Great place to spend several hours with the family on a rainy day as you can paint pottery in addition to buying some. There are quite a few different objects you can select to paint from mugs to figures and some larger pieces. I would recommend that you book (you get a two hour slot) in advance as it can get busy. We spent several hours each painting a mug and when you're finished you hand it in for a clear glaze to be applied and for it to he fired again. We had our mugs shipped back to us as we were not going to he in the area when they would be ready. It takes about two to three days for them to be ready for collection and it took about a week for them to be shipped to us. Staff were friendly and very helpful with how to paint and selection of colours, etc.

Ease to book in advance, but the staff will try and accommodate walk ins too. We booked, booking a 2 hour slot. Prices for items range from £15-£30, there are lots of resources (books, stamps, stencils) to get the creative juices flowing. Staff are customer focused and explain everything. A great experience young or old.

We booked a workshop for two and had a great time being guided through using the potters' wheels. Highly recommended... just received the glazed results, and can't quite believe we made them (albeit with help - thank you!). Fantastic! And a great way to spend an hour.

We visited recently for pottery painting and a few days later returned for pottery throwing. Both were loads of fun, the pottery throwing particularly. We were guided through making a pot by the very patient instructor. After creating our pieces, we were able to choose which glaze we would like and the finished product is sent to your home in a few weeks. Really reasonable cost for both experiences! Defo give it a go!

Spent a couple of hours here in my element painting pots for something to do on a rainy day whilst on holiday. Great place with some beautiful wares for sale. Really friendly people and a nice atmosphere, very relaxing. Pots were ready in a couple of days or they can be posted home too. Very happy with the finished products.

Just returned from Wales where we once more called at Corris Craft Centre to purchase another fabulous Fairy House made by Adele. I bought the first one back in the 80's and have a large collection but now I am buying them for my three grandchildren. Well worth a visit as you won't find this type of Fairy House anywhere else. I'll be back next year for at least four more.

Pottery, glass blower, toy shop and other crafts won't take you long, but worth sampling the gin and the cakes in the tea shop are excellent! Also very good for local delicacies (cakes, biscuits, honey, mead...) as presents and souvenirs.
